BUILDING A BETTER MODEL

Terroir Symposium 2021, the annual hospitality industry conference returns virtually from November 8th to 17th. The program will be online, spread out over two weeks, and will address pressing themes; Recipes for Financial Success; Work-Life Balance and Managing Stress; Diversity and Equity in the Workplace; Managing Career Development in Hospitality; & Restorative Production and Conscientious Consumption. 

Restaurants and the supply chain that supports the industry have experienced their share of challenges within the past year but despite that, it has shown tenacity and strength, and it’s not going anywhere but up. Terroir and partners are at the helm, providing a platform for connections to be made, ideas to be shared and together, as a community, change for the better can be created.

“Terroir has always been about bringing community, to share ideas, and create opportunities.” states Terroir founder Arlene Stein. “We realize we have work to do to reshape our industry into a professional environment that nurtures and inspires people - we hope that our programming will help assist in that way.”

Collectively the industry has the power and ability to build a future model for restaurants that it can be proud of. Terroir has put together programming that includes inspiring industry leaders, workshops, chef demonstrations, and more to support the industry in making the important changes that will sustain businesses.
