The Great Taste of Canada is a nation-wide cooperative program by the Culinary Tourism Alliance as part of our national culinary and agritourism development and marketing efforts.

In 2025, we’re partnering with Destination Canada to offer members of the Culinary Tourism Alliance a co-investment opportunity designed to leverage the attention generated by the next season of Top Chef USA to shine a spotlight on Canada’s delicious destinations in the US market.

What’s Included

Custom Article on Destination Canada’s Culinary Hub

We’ll will work with the DC content team to craft a feature article to appear on DC’s culinary hub. The article will feature no more than four (4) destinations, and will have prominent positioning. The content can include suggested itineraries, links to partner sites, and images and video. Development will take place in Q4 2024 for publishing in Q1 2025 ahead of the Top Chef TV show airing.

Social Posting and Amplification

To drive traffic to the feature article, we’ll work with DC’s social team to develop a dedicated post for DC’s organic Instagram channel (1.7m followers), timed to publish during the Top Chef TV air dates. The post will be amplified to DC’s US audience with an advertising spend of $15,000 per post.

Food & Wine: Print Signature Editorial Unit

Utilizing the trusted, authoritative voice of Food & Wine editors, a 36 page print insert will be brought to life in the May Travel Issue with a circulation of 709k. We’ll include your destination in the editorial brief for supplement. Please note this would be true editorial so no guarantee of inclusion.
