Nicole Brown

Growing up, food was a connector that Nicole took for granted. Now, it’s her centrepiece for intentional gratitude - a way to connect to her family traditions, her favourite people, and her favourite places. It’s her medium for discovery - a way to make new memories and explore new cultures. As the “go-to” gal for planning all culinary travel experiences for her friends and family, Nicole is thrilled to bring her personal passions to her professional life in her role at the CTA.

Nicole began her tourism career at Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory, leading the charge on social media, blogging, website content curation, and event management. She fell in love with the fact that people from all cultures came to the Conservatory to make memories with loved ones, to find comfort, and celebrate life’s milestones.

Nicole’s work in tourism has expanded to roles with Explore Waterloo Region, Huronia Historical Parks, and Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest. She has played a role in bringing several experiences to market including the award-winning Mistletoe Trail in Waterloo Region. She currently serves on the Board of Directors at Attractions Ontario.
