Indigenous Tourism Ontario launches Land Acknowledgement Resource Guide

Land Acknowledgements are an act of reconciliation, an act of compassion, and an act of mindfulness.

The resource was designed to aid in the development of your Land Acknowledgements across Ontario and includes important considerations, steps, examples and of course, resources.

We encourage all organizations, large and small, to explore this resources and craft your own land acknowledgements recognizing all the peoples of Turtle Island. We hope too that this guide contributes to your learning and reconciliation efforts, wherever you may be on that journey.
