George Brown College and the Culinary Tourism Alliance Partner to Launch the Craft Alcohol Microcredential

We’ve partnered with the folks at George Brown College to create a Craft Alcohol Microcredential class where students will learn how to design, develop and deliver a tourism experience at a craft alcohol facility.

What’s Involved in the Microcredential

This self-directed online class is all about managing visitor expectations in the culinary tourism sector and creating a unique taste of place! Using videos and case studies, the class focuses on the upskilling needed to enhance business opportunities through visitor-facing experiences.

“We created this microcredential for operators at craft alcohol facilities who may have little or no prior knowledge of the tourism industry,” says Valerie O’Halloran, Director of Professional Services at the Culinary Tourism Alliance. “The purpose of the qualification is to equip operators with a fundamental understanding of the craft beverage tourism industry, as well as how to design, develop, and deliver tourism experiences that meet or exceed visitor demands.”

After Course Completion

Once the course is completed, students will not only have a new understanding of how to craft an engaging culinary tourism experience, but they will also earn a digital badge to post to social media platforms such as LinkedIn.

You can sign up for the Craft Alcohol Microcredential class online today. Be sure to sign up before the deadline on April 2nd!
