Join the Culinary Tourism Alliance and guest speaker Chef Carl Heinrich, winner of Top Chef Canada and co-owner of Toronto's Richmond Station, for a day of networking and knowledge sharing!
Attendees will learn best practices on creating and maintaining a successful restaurant in Hastings County, how it is economically viable to support local, and how and why to create relationships across the culinary tourism value chain.

How to make sourcing local work for you
Retention and diversity in the workforce
How to tell your food story
Lunch will be provided.
Cost is $20 +HST. All proceeds will be donated to Food for Learning.
Guest Speaker Chef Carl Heinrich
Carl Heinrich is a co-owner of the award-winning restaurant Richmond Station in downtown Toronto. With cuisine inspired by quality local ingredients and driven by technique, Carl was the winner of the Food Network’s Top Chef Canada Season 2, the host of AMI’s Four Senses, and the recipient of the 2015 Pinnacle Award for Canadian Chef of the Year.
He learned how to cook in his mother's kitchen on Vancouver Island before training at the Stratford Chefs School, and with Chef Daniel Boulud in both New York City and Vancouver. Carl makes food that he knows his family would like to eat and keeps flavours pure. Avid gardener and home cook, he lives in Toronto with his wife and two kids.
